San Pedro Hotel, 5ta Avenida

muy buena ubicación. lleno de opciones y muy cómodo. piletas y jacuzzis en la terraza, garage, parrillas... todo lo necesario para pasar unas excelentes vacaciones. lo único que le falta, por eso las 4 estrellas, es una mano de pintura en todo el exterior ya que esta un poco descuidado. pero la realidad es que no influyen en mis vacaciones...

I've read with dismay, some of the reviews of this hotel and really can't understand how it's not rated better. I think people sometimes have unrealistic expectations, but honestly I've had nothing but a pleasant experience in the two months I've been here. The staff and manager, Ale, are very friendly, hugely accommodating, and efficient. Most don't speak English well, but this is Mexico and who doesn't have Google translate!? Any small hiccups our problems with my suite have been fixed nearly immediately. It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, and possibly most importantly, quiet and very secure. Plus it's got an amazing location, right on the edge of Centro, with every convenience close, with a lovely jungle on the back, where many local creatures can be seen. The roof is a little dated, not sparkling brand new, but it's still very nice and affords great views of the ocean and the town. If you're not after sparkly and new, but want a nice place to stay, for a decent price, this is it.

Great value for money. We stayed for 8 weeks in a huge 200sqm (2500 sq feet) 3-br, 3 bathroom apartment at the price of a standard 3-star hotel room. Check their long stay deals with hotel managers and you will be pleasantly surprised. Clean, spacious great cooking facilities, reasonable beds. A little noisy if apartment faces 5th Avenue. Select apartments facing jungle (selva) - bigger and quieter.

Pasamos unas vacaciones inolvidables! La ubicación es increíble realmente puedes caminar a todos lados, considero que deben controlar más el acceso al hotel, parece que cualquiera puede pasar. Hicimos una reserva por medio de una aplicación, pero logramos contactarlos por fuera y nos ahorramos un buen dinero.

Muy buen lugar para vacacionar con familia o amigos los departamentos son amplios, la limpieza muy bien y la ubicación excelente además que cuentan con una Plazita con diferentes tipos de restaurantes muy recomendado

Our suite was incredibly spacious, with three rooms, two full baths and 1 half-bath. The suite was cleaned very meticulously. The kitchen was spartan: no coffee or tea, spices, and minimal utensils. The furniture was considerably worn, often IKEA-like particle board that had been subjected to some water damage, but functional and clean. Upon arrival, there was sheer chaos regarding our reservation, and the staff insisted that we didn't have a reservation, but did not use the computer to check... It wasn't until the manager arrived about 15 minutes later, that it became clear that they were housekeeping staff only and had no access to the computer. This caused significant stress. However, our reservation was found easily at that point. We had been flying through the night, and the manager allowed us to check in early (10 AM) so we could sleep, which was a huge bonus. The rooftop lounge area was really nice, though the pools appeared to be in disrepair. The location was right on 5ta Avenida, which is a bustling shopping area with a nightlife. So, if you are looking to feel like you are in the action - the spot is perfect, but if you are looking for a quiet retreat, the discordant music wafting up from competing clubs and restaurants might mess with your sleep. I would go back, especially if I was travelling with a large group of family and friends, as it could be an amazing space to host from.

El mejor hotel.! El lugar es una gema escondida, tiene un rooftop con vista a la selva y playa algo que ya no encuentras en playa del carmen y mucho menos que este en la 5ta avenida. Eso lo hace sentir privado ya que no tienes edificios enfrente. La habitación muy bien , mis amigos y yo nos quedamos en nuestro cumpleaños y lo disfrutamos mucho.! Cuartos limpios y comodos eramos 8 y estuvo perfecto, tiene dos salas por lo cual permitía que si alguien quería trabajar se fuera a la otra adiciónala a 2 terrazas enormes. El personal es super amable, considero que lo que hace un buen lugar es el personal, nos apoyaron siempre en todo. Alejandra la administradora un amor estuvo en todo momento pendiente de nosotros, me permitió ir a ver la habitación antes de reservarla ya que era un festejo especial, resolvió todas mis dudad hasta el dia de mi llegada. Definitivamente fuimos muy feliz. Me da mucha pena que los locales ajenos del hotel no tengan pagina y dejen las personas su review aqui porque nada que ver con lo que el hotel ofrece.
